IRK jewelry's playfully shaped and fearless approach to color makes its design aesthetic stand out in a market of over the top bobbles and gems. With collection names like casablanca, bauhaus, and tropical they are simple but to the point for encompassing the feel of each collection.
I. Ronni Kappos jewelry is handmade from an evolving collection of vintage German glass. The beads were cast in the 1920's, 30's and 40's by craftsman whose meticulous techniques yielded unusual colors and shapes. Some of the rarer stock was dipped in 24 karat gold and then shaved at the time to create an elegant gold trim around the bead.
Ronni's design approach begins with a tremendous devotion to her materials. She values their history, but also designs with an eye for clean, modern shapes. Variations in the beads' color, or even slight imperfections, also add character to the pieces. Most of Ronni's jewelry is strung on nylon cord with 14 karat gold filled findings.
